Mayen is Philipino born, US based cake artist who travels the world to teach her skills.
She has been involved with cake shows like Cake International in the UK and shows in Australia and the USA. She is well know for her work in collaborations such as Starry Night, Cakenweenie, Michael Jackson, Around the world in 40 cakes, Tier-riffic cakes and Sugar Spooks.
Mayen Orido is the founder and owner of Way Beyond Cakes by Mayen. Mayen started making cakes for her son around 2008 and since then has gained a huge interest for her cakes and unique cake decorating style.
Mayen has travelled the globe conducting countless cake decorating classes for her gravity defying cakes. Apart from her cake business and cake classes, Mayen also has a popular Esty store where she sells her very own hand made silicone moulds. She is an active contributor to the cake decorating world and is well known in the industry.
